Bernadine Anderson

The Speaker: — I recognize the Minister of Agriculture.

Hon. Mr. Stewart: — Thank you, Mr. Speaker. To you and through you, I’d like to introduce a constituent of mine. Seated on the floor of this Assembly is Ms. Bernadine Anderson who I hope won’t mind me saying is 92 years young and is from the village of Craik.

Ms. Anderson is a very active lady. She’s joined here today by her daughters Shelly Kreutzer and Aleen Kutcher. Ms. Anderson worked in the Legislative Building from 1940 to 1945 for the King’s Printer. She resigned from her job in 1945 to marry Harvey Anderson who had just returned from World War II.

Mr. Speaker, I ask all members to join me in welcoming Ms. Bernadine Anderson and her daughters to their Legislative Assembly, and in so doing, Mr. Speaker, to express a small measure of our gratitude to Bernadine for many decades of service to her country, province, and community.
